Cloakroom

On level 0 of the main building

Open from 11am to 5:30pm (October-March)

Open from 11am to 6:30pm (April-September))

Lockers and a stroller garage are at your disposal.

 

The following items must be left in the checkroom before entering the museum: backpacks, umbrellas, helmets and other small luggage (maximum length 30 cm/width 15 cm/depth 20 cm), camera stands or flashes, selfie poles.

Suitcases are not allowed on site and we do not have lockers to store them.

 

For safety reasons, bicycles, scooters and strollers are not allowed in the building.

    A wheelchair and cane seats are also available at the reception desk, subject to availability and upon presentation of an ID card.

    Bookstore-gift shop

    Located on the garden side on the first floor of the new building designed by Kengo Kuma, the bookshop-boutique offers a selection of books and related products linked to our collections: new editions, postcards, art prints, sober line of objects responding to environmental issues, etc. As a scenographic extension of the permanent exhibition, the furniture in this dedicated 74m2 space was designed by Numéro 111, a design and architecture firm from Saint-Etienne.

     

    The bookshop closes 1 hour before the site closes.

    Learn more about Albert Kahn's project and the museum's collections through the documentary resources available to the public.


    By appointment only : Tuesday to Friday from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm (closed on national holidays, Christmas break, August).

    Restaurant

    A restaurant and a fast food dining space are planned for the museum.

    Meanwhile, several restaurants are available near the museum.
